I need to debrand my 810i but they didn't include a usb cable? i only have a k510i usb cable. Can i use that to do it? Also to maybe install custom audio drivers and stuff...

how do i find the CID number?

you should ask for the cable. It should come with the package.

you can use xs++ or setool2 lite to identify your phone. trying using your k510 cable.

can't ask them for the cable. somebody bought it for me from abroad.

tried the k510i cable and i managed to get it to Identify. It's CID 49 so let's try some modding... >_> <_<

ask for the cable in any store, i think it is working for all kinds of branded phones, as long as they're W810i.

I managed to backup the GDFS with xs++ using the K510i cable. Phone details are:

And i'm going to choose from the xs++ list:

CUST: W810_CDA102494_4_Generic_UK


Can someone confirm that those are the right choices? how do you know which main, fs and custpack fits your phone?

For the FS : Use R4ED001 instead R4DB005, its newer.
Main : Use R4EA031, it's also the latest version for the main firmware.

For the custom pack, you've got the right one.

Yeah, but R4DB005 is still usable right?

i don't want to update the firmware because i read somewhere that they tried to fix the digital distortion in the audio but ended up trading it for 'background hiss'. I'm pretty happy with the audio as it is.

just want to get rid of the Orange crap...
