ok so i'm freaking out. i've had my w580i for a few weeks now, decided to flash it and do all that cool stuff. long story short:

i viewed the xs++ thread, downloaded all the stuff, and attempted the flash. i used W580_R8BA024_MAIN_GENERIC_LA_RED52.mbn and W580_R8BA024_FS_AMERICA_1_RED52.fbn, and a custpack i found on this forum. everything flashed and uploaded fine, and i turned on the phone... it loaded for a minute, and now says "configuration error please see your service center" or some nonsense.

i have tried reloading the previous firmware and restoring GDFS but it still won't boot. this is the first entry in my log prior to any modification

i used a custom pack i found on a thread similar to mine, will post the label when i get off work... xs++3.1 says everything went on correctly. exactly what am i looking for in FSX?

are the FS and MAIN files i used ok for flash on my phone?

this is fixable right? not having a cellphone is counterindicated by my lifestyle

thx all

ok i found this custpack on a thread on this forum...

HB1_06_Gen_CDA102568_106_R8A_GENERIC_AMERICA_1.zip

i fsx'd into my phone and in the /tpa/custom folder, i have a folder called "doja" and a folder called "drm" neither contain any files. i don't know what i should be seeing anyway.

if this isn't the proper custpack which should i use?

thx again

whew i figured it out... i guess xs++3.1 wasn't uploading the custpack properly. i manually copied it with xfs and it worked like a charm. that was scary

thanks for your input
