I've purchased this K530i phone to a friend and he said he is going to take care unlocking it...
However I can not be sure where hi takes the phone and if they are going to patch unlock or fully unlock the phone.

What I ask is: (if it happens to be a patch unlock and I don't know that)
  • whether it gets more complicated to fully unlock the phone if I update the firmware after the patch or it doesn't matter?
  • is it possible to apply unlimited number of patches after unlimited firmware updates?
  • is it possible to update the firmware and then to apply the patch?
