Hi, I have a w810i that was previously R4DB005. I haven't been to the cell phone moding scene for quite awhile.

I wanted to back-up my contacts so I googled up My Phone Explorer, but MPE did not work and told me to update my usb drivers. I googled up that using sony ericcson update service would update my usb drivers. So i d/l'd the program and launched it and I only wanted to update my usb drivers but then it began updating my firmware also so I just left it on overnight.

I wake up in the morning and Sony update service is at the main screen so I assume that all is well and the update is complete but now my w810 won't turn on. I tried plugging in the charger and it still won't turn on.

Is there anyway to save my phone?? If it matters I do have old backups of my FS.

have you refreshed the battery?? or tried another time an update?

If refreshed means pulling it out and putting it back in, yes i have.

I haven't tried another update yet though, I'll try it out if that's my only solution.

Try to update it again with XS++ it might help but you need FS and Main files there is a chance that it will kill your phone like it did me but yours cant be more dead than it is..gie it a try and good luck .

I tried updating it with XS++ today using the break in method. My phone has turned into a complete retard. It takes me multiple tries of holding down C and connecting to my computer before my computer recognizes it. Then sometimes it disconnects out of nowhere and freezes the flashing.

The furthest I went was into my file system and into the custom folder but then it disconnected and froze on me.

u might have damaged ur erom slightly
