Hi guys,

I have a K750i which came into my Possession for educational purposes, and i get this error when ever i try and backup my GDFS.

Im trying to debrand the phone and experiment with customization without fear of destroying my precious k800i before i move on to tarting that out.

Is it really necessary to back up your gdfs and what would cause this. FYI the phone doesn't seem to work atm which is why i think it was donated to me (I get a Inactive Sim Message in standby) This appears for any sim even though the phone is unlocked (5 on each simlock section)

Any suggestions on how to get this working again? Or what fun things i can do with it?

Cheers! Is this safe to do without a GDFS backup?

is there a tutorial on how to do that?

am having the same problem with my k750i RED cid 49...am using XS++ 3.0....could you pls fix this bug in the next version?

i don't have a problem with xs 3.0 beta..i backup my gdfs without a problem using it..and i saw a tuturorial on se-nse about converting brown to red phones..use the search

Hmm it seems that i cant do anything with this phone atm and id really like some advice,

With XS++ it wont read or write the gdfs or even flash the phone.

Using Far manager it connects to the phone then cant open the FS


And Sonytool lite fails to do anything to the phone. however it reports that the OTM is locked.

any advice on how to get this thing back in action?

Ive tried almost every tutorial on this site.

With my k800i it works perfectly.

so back up your gdfs with farmanager.
