hi frnds thnks for bloging the process of how to debrand the se w200.

im using w200i and in im having a problem with the keypad. there is no security code to lock the keypad for these damn plz help me. i always lock my mobile in the desk while i leave... plz help me

please make clear what you actually want and try spelling stuff correctly.

Am i right in thinking you wish to add a code wish must be entered when coming out of keypad lock, and if it isnt entered correctly, phone wont function? If so, i dont think there is a way to do this i'm afraid. could be wrong though

i think inverting standby clock color can be done with customize_upgrade.xml, and making icon grow can be done with menu.ml. but they grow anyway by default. how much more do you want them to grow?

NO. I mean, the icon grow larger for moment, then back to normal again.
Its hard to explain, but hope you understand it.

from what i've read inverting colours may not work on w200. search this thread and you may find something. never had the urge to investigate much.

the hamler certificate in the first post seems to alter the 2x2 thumbnail view of my pics..

i created 2 zip files...the usb.zip and tpa.zip...

at the 1st page it says that i have to create a zip file of the two together..but what should i name the zip file?

Just upload your flash screen saver to the pictures folder on your phone and select 'Use as screensaver' . If you don't have that option, you will have to apply a patch to enable it.

OK for flash screensaver without patches the setup should be as follows

example.zip--------------------tpa/system/settings/(shortcut file - can't remember name)
^...................................-usb/other/iphone.swf
^
^Name doesnt matter

setup folders as shown, select both "tpa" and "usb" in windows explorer, right-click>send to>zipped folder then name it whatever, it doesnt matter. for example, flash_screensaver.zip. Then make sure you have a picture as the screensaver, turn off your phone, put that zip in misc in SeTool2Lt, and select W200 at top, then hit flash and connect your phone. Let it do it's thing and then disconnect when it tells you to, and turn on and lock your keypad to see your new flash screensaver. to change it, simply place a new .swf file in the "other" folder on phone memory (just connect in usb mode to computer, dont need SeTool2Lt) and rename to iphone.swf. Hope that all makes sense to you.

the certificate in the first page seems to have 3x3 picture thumbnails..

and i dont like that option..

any halmer certificates for download with customized_upgrade.xml?

Try this .zip. Just add it in misc in SeTool2Lt and press flash. It'll install halmer and will also enable activity menu. Is that ok, or should i get rid of the activity menu bit?

regarding the flash screens..

it seems that -corman- had a easier way of using flash screens..

he said that use as screensaver will do..

but i dont have that option in my phone..

he said that applying patch will enable it..

the problem is i dont know how to apply the said patch..

anybody here willing to tell me??

for patching search these forums for anycid patching method. you can find the patch on the first page. but make sure you read it and understand it before trying anything.

and btw, my method of flash wallpaper is very straightforward, and much simpler if you don't want other patches. if you want other patches, go for the patching method, may as well, but it's a LOT of hassle for just flash wallpapers.

if you just want flash wallpapers, go to the first post and download the .zip in it for flash wallpaper. add it to misc in SeTool2lt and press flash. then simply place your chosen .swf file in the 'other' folder on your phone memory (connect usb cable, select file transfer, and browse on computer to phone, not phone card, then go to the 'other' folder) and name it iphone.swf. This way you can simply change the swf (not quite as easy as patch, but still easy) and you dont have to bother with tricky patching.
