You can add as many customize_upgrades as many times as you want: just make sure you turn the phone on after you added it (otherwise if you add another before you turn it on it will overwrite the one you just uploaded: hence why I say its easier to add it as one customize_upgrade)

Thanks. Since asking about the patches, i was reading through the first few pages of the topic and on pg 1 it says u add the *.vkp file in MISC in SETool2Lt and press "Write Script" but on page 2 it is stated that you should press "FLASH". Which of these is correct please? Sorry for asking so many questions, :newhere: and i dont want to break my phone! :)

When patching W810, you had to press 'Write Script'. I suspect it won't be different.

Thats only if you have a phone thats not a w200 (eg k310 turned into a w200: that you can patch under setool2lite)

For w200 you need the anycid patching method

A couple of posts back U stated that the method on page 1 would work, now you're saying it doesn't? I'm confused!! Which is it? I have a w200, not "crossflashed" (i think thats the right term) from any other phone.

There's a very simple method to do it, just read the first post in the topic! Look for EQHalmer. There's a patch [not a VKP] which adds a certificate to the phone [but it's together with the activity menu and the 3x3 thumbnails, a bit of editing will help you I think to get only the stuff you want]. Then Pick the Jar file, drag it on the EQHalmer.exe. You will get a jar and a jad file. Pick both and transfer it to your phone. Important! Put it in the PHONE MEMORY, not the memory stick! And then install it by using the JAD file!!! Not the JAR! Once it's installed, in the properities of the app you can choose "never" ask for reading/writing the file system. [If you had installed the Halmer certificate] I hope it was helpful and not too difficult to understand. It works for me, like a charm. Now I have a fully working KDPlayer and Zeus on my w200i with firmware R4HA014 Mediterran [downloaded from here] :)

Greetings:

Black Rose

I dont see how you are being "confused". If you are referring to this:

The patching is possible using the method mentioned: its just that the post writer hasnt updated the first post

I meant the anycid patching method. I did not at all say it is possible via the first post. May I suggest you take a trip down to the opticians?

You said patching was possible by the method mentioned when i asked about the method on page 1 i.e. not anycid method, but just adding them in SETool2lt. Now you say i have to use the anycid method because the method listed on page 1 wont work. that's where i got confused. i knew nothing about the anycid method when i first asked, but anyway, thanks for clearing things up. Btw, if i use the anycid method, do i have to reflash everytime i want to add patches, or do i just add them no probs?

The only thing you have to do is run the executor app in games (once you have uploaded it to your phone), then enter bflash, then drag the REST file over to the bflash pane, then you can patch, then exit jd flasher in the correct manner. No need to flash everytime you patch

Hi. I flashed the activity menu stuff on. After the second bit, all the icons on my phone's menu changed. Not much of a problem on my current theme, but if i switch, how can i get it back to the old icons and still have activity menu?

EDIT: Now completely fixed. If anyone else wants normal icons and the added Activity Menu stuff, download my modified MENU.ML. Just add the zip in Misc SeTool and press flash. Alexherdea, perhaps you could add this to your first post as an alternative to the second Activity Menu zip, for those who want to keep original icons? The zip is in the attachments.

Simple way to get all the original files you need :

1. Download the W200 FS from the first post.
2. Download Extract_FS.zip from attachments
3. Unzip that zip file.
4. Copy FS into that folder with the contents of the zip
5. Drag the FS (*.fbn) onto babe2raw.exe
6. Open a command prompt and navigate to the folder.
7. Type "SEFStool.exe" (without quotes) and then the name of the *.raw created by last step. Press enter
8. Wait a minute, and a folder will be created with all the original files from the W200 in it. Navigate to the correct location and there are the files.

This will work with any phone and any file system (FS). Hope that helps.

here's my question:

if i flash my w200 with a new firmware...will it restore back the original drivers for acoustics, display or camera driver?
