W850i Cid 49 Or 52? Help! Not sure which it is CID 52 or 49 Rate Topic: -----

Hi to all! I have a W850i with a white screen of death... :blush: So i thought i might reinstall the firmware but when i plug the phone in to XS++ i recive this:

So I am not sure how this is happened but I was just wondering which firmware to downloas CID 49 or 52 and what is the better firmware to install R1ED001 or R1KG001 :confused: ?

Is it normal to have OTP CID: 49 and EROM CID: 52 ?
What is the better firmware to install R1ED001 or R1KG001 ? And which is the lates one any ideas?

R1KG001 is newer but i don't know if it's better. did you backup your GDFS before this happened?

No ideas at all, this phone was gained as a part of exchange offer, one more question :lol:
I am not sure how much power left my battery has, because I know in order to flash you need a fully charged battery but if I plug my charger in will the batter charge? Because when I charge it all it shows is a white flashing screen but is the battery actually charging?

yes,it's supposed to be charging. they say you need a charged battery because while the phone is recognized as a flash device it does not charge and it uses battery power. i've used my phone as a flash device with 50% battery power but listen to what they say and make sure your battery is charged. and another thing. backup your GDFS with setool2 lite after you fix the phone. a GDFS backup is VERY important to have.

it is is you updated your phone with sony ericsson update service..have you updated the firmware?

I have tried updating with sony ericsson it was succesfully completed, but the phone still had a white screen of death that its how fare I have gone after that I have not tried anything :blush:
I am having problems with my battery, as I am not sure how much power it has left and I don’t know any one with the same phone so if I plug my charger in will the battery charge even though I have white screen of death?
Its just that I don't want to risk it )))

Yes it is normal. Install R1KG001.

Anyaways with a dead phone it does not charge.
K800i R1KG001 R3A011 CID 52 Red + 1GB M2 || There's no place like XFCE :P

but his phone isn't dead, is it? so it is supposed to still be able to charge?
