I take it the GDFS is a backup from YOUR phone and have you removed the battery for 10 seconds then reinserted it? Then try and connect again.

yes, the GDFS is the backup i did from MY phone before i did the first reinstall of the firmware, i waited more than 10 secs and didnt work, i removed battery and pressed power (just in case) and reinserted battery and still didnt work, its like if i didnt do anything, after i press "Connect" it says to connect my phone holding C and the 30 secs goes like if i didnt do anything, i reinstalled the USB drivers (thinking it could be a driver's problem for not detecting phone) and nothing, feels like my phone is dead :(

when i remove battery and reinsert it and try to power it on, i can see a red light up on and off once (where the infrared port is) with the cover of battery off then it doesnt do anything else until i remove the battery again.

I'm afraid its dead. No free way to revive it. Only an SETool box or taking it to service center will fix it. :(

I want asked one question....I'm not flashing my FW yet but when I check my CDA number it show like below

CDA 12345678/123 R11A
1204-1255 R3CA033
1E0W
APAC-ANZ

I already download this FW

W980_R3CA038_FS_APAC-ANZ_RED52
W980_R3CA038_MAIN_CHINA_MD_RED52

so my question is....which custom files should I download? What is my CDA number because it show 12345678/123 only....do I need to wait until I flash my FW to know my CDA number?

thanks for your help :)

Yeah forgot to mention that. If you have a western europe fs you must have a cda (custom pack) with western europe.
