Hey guys,
I just flashed the main/fs for R4EK001 on my w810i and the shutter sounds are still there on this one... anyone have an easy fix without downgrading?

delete the camera AF and shutter sound? (via far manager)

Can I just add this to customize.xml with settool...
IE, make a new tpa.zip add that in, add the zip to MISC, then flash script?

You could delete it with XS++.

Put the phone in silent mode.

Alright it doesn't work in silent mode - that was obviously the first thing i checked. Had a friend test the same firmware as well and it also still has shutter sound.

Can you tell me how to do it in XS++?

Using XS++ go onto fsx at the bottom and click start fsx wait for a while untill a list comes up
click on tpa then go to presets/System/Sound and then delete Shuttersound.3gp
When you've done that press shutdown and it should take a picture without sound
