Hey,
I have 2 Sony Ericsson T610 Phones, one is missing a joystick, the solder pads for the joystick, the screen, the keypad and the soldered camera socket whereas the other is basically working OK on hacked fireware. Because the working phones IMEI is blacklisted due to the seller being a right :censored:, I used a hacked R1 fireware so it reads my IMEI without having to rebuild the GDRF and stuff so the phone works using the IMEI from the broken phone and I was wondering if there was anyone that knows where the OTP chip with the IMEI is on the board? I got some PDFs but the components are not labeled, I am thinking that if I find out what chips hold the IMEI, I can pay someone that is an ace at soldering to remove the blocked chip, chuck it and replace it with the good chip from the other board.
So, any suggestions?
Thanks all
