I found this file; W810_CDA102555_15_R2A_Generic_AMERICA_1 and I downloaded it, would this be the right file to go with my FS and MAIN?

EDIT: btw, since i found this.. how do i add it to XS++ so i can select it when I flash?

I did what you said in the 2nd part of adding your own custpacks. Only I didn't do it after I flashed... soooo, it messed up. I just restored the GDFS, and Now im going to try to flash and then add the custpack later.

EDIT: I'm debranded, I've got everything in the right place (custpack) do you have a link to any GOOD flash menus?

I have a bunch of flash menus on my laptop, but unfortunately I have my Wind Ensemble (highest lvl band in my highschool) tomorrow so I need to practice... I'm a nervous piece of crap right now... so stressed... and then I have homework to do and a math test tomorrow. I'll see what I can do tomorrow, until then, enjoy the Orbit, Emerge, and Equalizer themes (they have flash menus... if they don't work, try a diff custpack)

I was able to find many Flash themes (so i don't need any atm) but the problem is, when I open up FSX and search for the location to put the flash menus in it.. the directory isn't there. I dont have the "desktop/system/flash" sub directories. I tried adding them and then putting the files in there but that didn't work. I found where the standard themes were located and placed them in there, still no luck.

great tutorial! read it through and about to start unbranding. well technically re-branding. I have a W810i unlocked for use with any sim (a shop did it for me). Fone was previously contracted and branded to T-Mobile (UK)..
I use Orange (UK) and want to strip out the T-Mobile branding and re-brand with Orange logo's etc..

I have the orange custpack "W810_CDA102494_51_Orange_United_Kingdom" but could you guys give me some advice on the MAIN and FS I need please?

I'm guessing something like W810_R4DB005_FS_ORANGE_GEN_RED49 or W810_R4DB005_FS_EUROPE_1_RED49 for the FS??

could anyone tell me if this looks correct so far. i'm stuck for a "MAIN" file to use or where to get one.. any ideas guys?! also there a good free server or place to get them?

Custpack and FS are good... now you just need the main. I'd suggest checking out www.iprotebe.cz... they have lots of free firmware, or you could look on www.topsony.com and find the one you need, and then google it. But if possible, get R4EA031 instead of R4DB005 (kinda old). I'll look to and help you find some.

@Jdutra: Can you give me a screenshot to what you see on the FSX screen? I have never heard of the direcotires not being there. Make sure the directories are right to... it should be "tpa/preset/system/desktop/flash" and that has to be right because I extracted a FS file and that's what I get...

Hey is there a tutorial for getting MMS messaging and internet back to my phone after unbranding it? All my profiles are gone and I'm not exactly sure how to get them back. Sorry to bother but i couldnt find anything searching for "w810 internet" or things to that nature

Then there is a 'Flash File System' box but I don't know what to put in here or where to find it??

Then there is the 'Customize File System' box.

Umm, Lewie if you read my Flashing bit, it explains fairly good on how to flash If you want to debrand, you flash a .mbn (MAIN file), a .fbn (FileSystem file), and a Custompack (Customize File System). All those files must be generic. If anything goes wrong, just fix the problem. It's no biggie with the new XS++... old XS++ versions took forever, and debranding would be a day-long procedure
