to get u started..
u can use XS++ and far manager with sefp db2020 for modding...


as for customizing,well u can do lots of things....like adding new camera driver, acoustic, flash menus,fonts,walkman skins etc....

and there are two parts of far manager u hve given .... how should i join the two parts?

u can use xs++ or far manager...
xs++ is best for flashing phone and far manager for modding...
sefp db2020 is plugin for far manager and with it u can browse file system of ur phone....

and for the other question yes u must join them...

search forum for tutorials because there is alot of them...

can u tell whats the difference between flashing the phone and modding it ... ???i downloaded the far manager and now checking the CID with davinci .... now after checking the cid ... i should open the far manager and then do what can u explain ... my model is w610i ... thakns for ur patience

dude first update your phone using SEUS !

then it becomes CID52
then use XS++ 1.6.8 to mod

this tut in general it applies to phones with db2020 and CID52 !!!

example k550i w610i s500i w580i w850i etc

but that tut i wrote it for k550i.... still it the procedure is same for all db2020 phones with CID 52


check out the updates section of that tut and u will find every thing !!! u need !

dude i have got a prob ...i connected my phone by pressing c button to davinci...but after i connect it ... in a min the phone automatically turns on to the file transfer mode .... in the meantime the davinci is askin for the semc usb flash drivers .... so i downloaded the seus set up ... then i connected the phone pressing c to the pc ... but after a while it turns on in a min to file transfer mode ... what to do now

i think ur not reinserting battery....

hold C properly and connect to PC
and don't leave C button untill you are instructed to leave it !
