Hi all, brand new to this forum but i must say it looks great.
(I hope im posting this in the right forum!)
I recently bought a new w880i, after having a w810i for a while...
Thought i could sell my w810i however had the odd mark on and so got a new cover/housing from ebay and set about changing it over.
Everything went resonably well there until last moment when something happened to power button. Basically, on the board theres a tiny button and it looks like that has snapped off. So now im unsure what to do, i mean its perfect apart from that.
I was wondering what you would all suggest, i mean i guess that fault downgrades the price significantly beacuse the normal person wouldnt want to bother fixing it. I would guess it just needs a new button (of which there are several already on the board, so i dont think they are a rarity) soldered on and thats about all!.
Any comments on this would be welcome, i could do with the extra bit of cash i was expecting until it all went to pot!

I'm having the same problem with my k790, the thing is, that I don't want to sell it, and although I'm using my good old s710, I miss the K790. Is there a way to fix the problem that dazzy described?
If not, I read somewhere else in the forum that with older models, you could plug the phone to the usb port and it would automatically turn on. Not in this case, when you unplug the phone, it turns of again. Is it possible to turn the phone on with a similar method?
Thanks in advance.
