On a drunken night out i accidently spelt drink over my new K750i. Didnt think anything was wrong until i received a call. The speaker is all crackly and you can barely make out what people are saying to you. I thought i would investigate and so i used your Ripped Apart guide to take it apart. I was very careful but was unable to see any visable problems. I put the phone back together and now there is a visable problem. No display. The screen is dead. Don't know how for I was extremely careful. Maybe I've missed something you know? If it is broke where will i find spare parts?
And Finally the directions i need. Beacuse i have no screen and all the contacts are on my phone, could someone help me get them copied to my sim card.
Its Contacts > Options > Advanced > Copy to Sim > Copy All, i think. Just tell me up down left right Click etc. Thanks for all your help

If your phone gets wet you need to turn it off straight away. If you turn it on you can destroy the circuits because the water deposits minerals throughout the circuits making them work really bad. You need to dry it out for days or more like a week (if I remember right) to make sure you don't do this.
I know because I turned my T610 on to see if it still worked, seemed fine apart from a bit of screen and speaker damage, and then it went dead.
If you have already fried it then you will either have to pay a lot to get it repaired, or do what I did, and sell it as parts for about £10. You don't get the full worth of the parts, because most of them die after the water.
It may have changed in the last year, but I think phones still aren't waterproof

Yeah they still arent waterproof but it does still work perfectly part from the speaker and now the screen cos of my stupidity. I want to sell on for parts but all my contacts are on it and messages. So without screen its impossible to erase these details. I want it wiped clean before I sell. Please help K750i owners and give me directions to delete messages in inbox and sent items and move contacts to SIM. Pleaseeeeeeeeee

Before selling it for parts or anything, open it back up again and make sure you reconnected the display ribbon properly and that there's no condensation or dirt or anything in there. Worth a go at least.
And as for the speaker, well thats a bit of a balls, but something that might improve after drying out for a week or two!
