W800 Patches, How-to's? the search isnt giving me love, please point me to a good guide

i've finally flashed up my w800 to r1bc002 (red cid36) and want to start patching. can somebody please point me to a good guide for being able to do this, and if possible, a good patch pack?

also, i see people asking "will this patch work with APAC" etc - i'm running r1bc002 europe_2 generic, is there any way i can tell if a patch ISNT going to work with my firmware? thank you in advance (been here for a few days, not having much luck)
