Well i have to say im quite glad the forum is back up and running as my project phone gets delived tomorrow, its exactly the 432nd k750 the English Carphone Warehouse have left lol (they been discontinued), just in for a little info as i can see the warrenty lasting Oooh say around 10 minutes, cannot wait to finally get my hands on SETool2 Lite hehe.

with online flashing, davinci, wotan etc... I think they can fix GDFS, only you need to buy logs!
If only you have a service cable maybe you can format your GDFS! Setool2lite has that automatically!

Hey hs anybody tried writing in the k750/w800 GDSF script to enable AMR yet? iv backed up the GDSF and its tiny compered to the backup of my cid36 backup, im a little unsure as to whether i should risk writing it into my other cid49 phone with it being so small lol, or should i be brave and share the result or is there a deffinate reason why it wouldnt work on the cid49 k750@w800 as it did with the cid36 w800? as there is almost a 1mb in size difference between the 2 cid36 backup 1,024kbs cid49 backup 62kbs , i dont want to kill it, its still only 1 day old from new...

You can enable AMR using customize_upgrade instead of writing directly to GDFS. I'll try and find the thread and edit this post if somebody else doesn't get it in.

@SLuR, i thought enabling AMR via cust couldnt be done on k750/w800, or am i wrong?
Anyway its worth a try as its probably safer lol, i thought id bricked it trying to be brave, the phone wouldnt switch on so i flashed in my backup GDSF which i got using SETool2 Lite and still no luck phone wouldnt power on untill i flashed a clean Main, so im guessing it wrote it into the beginning of the Main and now its alive again
PS: @the_laser or another clever soul, how do we make "FULL" GDSF backup using SETool2 Lite?

Yes, nothing u can do with China Main. Patches available out there, were made for generic. So, u need to use Generic main if u want to apply patches. Otherwise, it wont work.

Hello, thanks for this great tool.
i was waiting long time for things like this.

i was try to patch may k750i CID49 phone, but i'm not lucky to do this.
my phone won't start after patching.

i'm sure i do mistake but i'm not sure wath is it.

first i forget to set phone type to k750/D750 and tried to read GDFS.
is this my mastake??

or my patches not for my firmware R1CA021 ( that patches say they are for my firmware ).
in patching prosses setool said some data are differ !!

i was lucky to recover my phone by flashing main firmware with XS++.
