What should the new firmware forum be called? At the moment it's called the 'n00b Forum', but someone has suggested 'Newbie Forum' as they felt 'n00b' was perhaps a little harsh. If you don't like any of the choices above feel free to suggest your own. :)

Agreed with SE4NICK. "n00b" is uninformative and off-putting to new member (and people new to this kinds of forum anyway. "Newbie Forum" could be the "hello I'm new section", so "Newbie Firmware" is the logical direction..... speaking as a newbie here. :)

When I suggested this, I suggested adding a "Newbie" forum... Not a n00b forum... I guess that speaks for itself. Regardless of whether it sounds harsh, it's more clear as well.

Well, I dont think it should have anything to do with Newbie. I still use some topics of there because they have been moved and i dont consider myself as a noob. Something like "Begginers Journey starts here" or "Back to adventure" followed then by a "newbie forum" in pharentesis should be better in my opinion.

I suggest "Firmware Tutorials" -- So you know exactly what you should find when you visit. Sub-title it with whatever n00b or newbie phrase you like.

Well, in my opinion we should stress that the forum is for 'newbies' with questions. Obviously 'newbies' isn't meant in an offensive way. However, it is a good way of catching attention and therefore drawing new members to that forum.
