Hi guys. I just bought a new SE K800i here in Switzerland. But it's branded, and i hate the fact, that the menu icons have been changed... It looks really ugly in my eyes, i like the original one much better. Is there a way to debrand my phone?
Here are the logs from xs++
PORT STATUS: ACTIVE
Baseband ID: 9900
Hardware Platform: db2020
Protocol Version: 3.1
AutoReturnCollectingWarning: IMEI name does not match GDFS name (IMEI:NULL GDFS:K800)
...using GDFS name
Return
PHONE INFO
DBID: db2020
OTP CID: 51
EROM CID: 52
EROM color: Red
IMEI: 35731501xxxxxx
Phone: K800
Operator: ORANGE_CH
CDA: CDA102511/56 R11A
Firmware: R1JC002
EROM: R3A022
I've done a search in the forums, but couldn't find an answer, because i'm very new to such things as firmware flashing.
Thanks in advance

There is currently no free way to debrand CID51/52 phones...
You will have to use Wotan or Davinci.

Ok, thanks for your help. Is it a hard thing to do it using wotanserver?
No, it's not. However, it's not free.
I'd suggest you to use Davinci though so you can also apply the no-bruteforce hack. Davinci may be a little more complex though, and it is also a little more expensive (Wotan costs $7 and Davinci costs €10).
And if you don't mind paying Davinci a little more, you can also install some cool K800 patches (but I think that patches aren't available for CID52 yet).

I appreciate your help Stonos
As I am new to this sort of things (flashing and stuff...), I don't know much about that. I don't even know, what bruteforce is. What do you mean with the complexity of davinci? I want a branding-free phone, so i guess i gotta invest some money...

Bruteforce is the process where XS++ tries every possible combination of numbers to unlock the CSLoader which allows you to upload files into some "secret" directories that you cannot normally see within the phone.
Bruteforce is supported only in CID49 phones and not on CID51/52 phones because of enhanced security.
I mean that Davinci may be a little harder to use compared to Wotan.
