I tried this once and broke my HPM 70, luckily I had a new one from my W580 lying around. I'm thinking about trying with the new OEM one I just got for free from my friend!

This mod is kiddies stuff to be honest... its very easy ive done it alot of times... thanks anyways.

Hi rabvtec,
i have seen your post. it is really helpful. i would like to know the pin configuration of the hpm-70 headphones. the internal cable configuration. so that i can use a jack for mic also as headphones. Please help.

Thanks for the tutorial. Hoy do i know if my fast port is 'push fit' or 'bonded' ?? mine is an hpm 64 but i guess it does not depend of the model it is, but in the way it is constructed. Thanks

Great tutorial. It's explained very good and it's very easy. But you can also buy a SE short 3.5 mm adapter. :)
