I have a Proooblem.
Now trying to flash my friends phone (wich is obviously k750)
I get a Flashblock error in the end of Main flash
and FS gets stuck on finishing flash after block 291... tried to reflash everything a dozen of times.
even if i stop it after it gets stuck and go forward by the tut and start the phone it starts but if the loading screen comes up wich should extract the firmware inside the phone i think? it goes 1/4 the way and freezes what should i do? Please help -.- my friend wants his phone back ...

ok now im scared. i tried to flash back to K750 Went ok no errors. and now i start the phone again the Please wait screen gets stuck on 1/4

or was it that my phone is up to date. altough i ftried flashing it to R1BC002 that shouldn't be the newest?
and i have read that i need to flash my erom can someone guide me ? what, how and what file?

is the phone recognisd by far+sefp? if so, just customise it with ine of the emea_1 packs and it should work

everything recognises it also far+sepf but i think i already have a EMEA_1 pack.... wich i tried flashing previously.

Do you use the newest XS++ 3.1 Darwin?
And, does the phone look damaged? Or water-damaged? Remove the battery cover and the battery, near the SIM card slot there's a piece of paper. If it is red, the phone has tasted some water...

phone is fine. it worked before flashing. i flashed exactly same like my phone but my phone works.
and no it is not water damaged and the marker is white

tried flashing again and my brother came and pulled out my usb.

and now nothing does recognise my phone. so im bricked right?

Your brother is stupid lol

If this happened, try removing the battery or try using setool2lite or semctool. If these won't work, you will have to use wotanserver or davinci team's help... But it's not free, you will have to pay about 10 Euros for that...

And you need a FS file, i use this: [hw]W800[/hw]_R1BC002_FS_EU3.fbn

when i try to download fs file, i get an error from megaupload.com : "The file you are trying to access is temporarily unavailable." can u give me fs file, hosted at another site ?please

well i have all the tools now...but there is soemething that i'm not sure off...the files related to w800..i think they have info related only to europe

but i live in africa..egypt..so i think my mob will not work properly if i use them..any info about that...

or do u know any placve to get other files of w800 exactly like yours..but related to africa....

yeah, it will work. he used those files because they suit him. now you just need to flash your phone with W800_R1BC002_FS_EMEA_5_RED36 and W800_R1BC002_MAIN_EU_1_CA_RED36 and customize with W800i_CDA102430_6_R2A_Generic_EMEA_6(assuming your phone is CID36 red)

Howdy Y'all,
yes, I'm yet another bleedin' noob!
I've never attempted flashing firmware before, so am really scrutinising this excellently helpful forum before 'diving in'.
I have one little question, so here goes:


I have one 'red cid49' K750i(O2 Ireland),
Gslide,
XS++ 1.5(should I try 3.1?),
W800_R1BC002_MAIN_EU_EMEA_RED49.bin,
W800_R1BC002_FS_EU3.bfn.

Going by the tutorial here, this is all I need to successfully convert.
Will this firmware upgrade leave my phone operable with my network provider?
Will I need to customise my 'cda' number/region after flashing?
(no experience with these type of codes at all, am I in over my head here?)

Okay, I got impatient !!!
I went ahead, foolishly, but remarkably, thanks to the tutorial, managed to pull it off, even got connected to my old network!
Two small glitches though.
1. After flashing main and fs firmwares with XS++ 1.5, the unit wouldn't start at all, not even a white screen, so I downloaded v 3.1 of the program instead, and 'voila', a walkman phone !!!
2. I can't transfer contacts and apps, which I saved on removable memory card. Oh, they're there on it alright, but how or where do I transfer them back on to the phones internal memory?

Any help appreciated, and thanks a shitload for the great tutorial. Fantastic work !!

i got my k750i like a year ago and flashed it to w800 and now i just want to get to the latest w800 firmware which is what btw R1BC002? I dont think i did a FS flash just a MAIN. The reason i want to upgrade is that i see a few problems like when i put my usb cable in, the phone just sits there doing nothing and dosent go into usb mode yet i can get into the memorystick which is weird. Also the camera when i take a picture the zoom dosent work properly, i set my zoom to like 2 and take the picture and the picture comes out like i didn't zoom when i did. i live in north amercia SO PLEASE TELL ME WHAT FIRMWARE I SHOULD USE! ALSO IS IT SAFE TO UPGRADE USING SEUS TO THE LATEST K750 IF I SHOULD CHOOSE???????????

I just tried all the steps u said and my phone satrted as a w800 vut i can only use the media player whenever i click on smartphone it says to contact the service center
