K750 Free Unlock Rate Topic: -----

is there any possibilty to unlock a k750i using the DCU-60 cable?

No problem, but you will need to use Wotan for DaVinci (i.e. pay) to unlock it.
There is currently no free way to do it.

Seems we're stuck with paying...

This seller on ebay seems to have a good idea - cable hire & an unlock credit for £10

You might as well buy a service cable for like $15.00 and unlock it yourself, plus that way you can fix your phone if anything ever goes wrong.

So you can unlock it for free with a service cable - but not a DCU-60 is that what you are saying?

Is the service cable a T28?

Cruiser Cable

A service/cruiser cable for $14.00, it's not the T28 but the K750. And yes you can unlock your phone for free after you purchase a service cable, but not a DCU-60. You can also repair phones with a service cable. I fixed my w810i that had so many problems cause my GDFS files were messed up.

it is better if you reflash it with w800 firmware couse you gain WALKMAN..

you can UNLOCK k750 or w800 FOR FREE...you should only REFLASH and patch it!!!

1.Download SETOOL from here: SETOOL 1.11 or SETOOL 1.08
than DOWNLOAD firmware FILES from HERE!
FIRMWARE FILES
2.FLASH your phone following this tutorial!!
Flashing Tutorial By Modmy-forum.com

3.Make the unlock patch
-Download Unlock patch maker from SimLock Patch Generator
-Run program.
-Click on "..."
-Go to phone MAIN folder[ex:W800_R1BD001_MAIN_EU_1_CA_RED49] and select it!
-Click "Make patch" and close program
-Unlock patch it's on vkp folder[ex:Remove_SIM_lock_W800_R1BD001.vkp]!

4.Writing the patch to the phone only with Setool :
!!! NOTE THAT THIS STEP DESCRIBES THE WAY YOU CAN APPLY ANY PATCH TO A DB2010 PHONE NOT JUST THE UNLOCK PATCH !!!
-Run Setool.
-Select "Phone type" w800.

-At MISC FILES select the UNLOCK patch[ex:Remove_SIM_lock_W800_R1BD001.vkp]
-Press "WRITE SCRIPT"
-Press and hold "c" from phone and insert USB cable
-When the program ask to select "YES to remove patch or NO to apply patch",you press NO.
-Now you wait untill you see next message: Elapsed ___ sec and disconnect your phone!
Your phone is now UNLOCKED!

you can also flash with k750 firmware if you do not want a w800 for some reason
