Hello

Well earlier today my W800i was blacklisted, don't ask me why it just happened which was a shame, I loved the W800i.

Then I remembered I had a spare K750i, CID36 thank god lying around at home and (like any phone modder would) I knew it could be flashed with w800i firmware so I downloaded all the files and started up Gflash (for the EROM)

After I flashed my K750i with w800i EROM (downloaded from http://sek750i.pl/component/option,com_rem...id,957/lang,en/ ) my computer crashed and restarted taking the phone with it, now if I try turning the phone on or bring up any flashing program and using the "C" startup method, nothing happens, yes I have tried swaping the batteries (Both fully charged) but I still get nothing.

I don't have access to a service cable either, if I did I would have tried Unblocking my phone (Yes I know it's illegal but it's do-able and I own both handsets and technically they're the same phone, just different software) so I have never used testpointing before (not sure if it would help)

Also I would have tried using the "K750i to W800i for free using SEUS" method but I'm using Windows Vista and it currently does not work, as with most versions of SEtool

suggestions?

afaik you need a service cable to fix this and i dont think your spossed to flash erom <-<S

ill find out since im getting a k750 on monday and as soon as i get near a computer it will be a w800

what do u mean ur w800i was blacklisted i flashed my k750i 2 a w800i the other day is my w800i firmware gonna get blacklisted??

Well not for the SEUS method but I read that you needed to flash the EROM

Oh well looks like I'm going to have to find a service cable to try and fix this, I backed up everything from it including the GDFS so it shouldn't be too much of a problem

Oh and number1, no it won't blacklist your phone, blacklisting is a security precaution to protect against lost and stolen phones, the IMEI number of the phone gets put into a database that all the phone networks share and if you try making a call using a phone with a blacklisted IMEI you wont be able to do anything, It's IMEI based not firmware based so you should be fine
