Phone up your network provider and report the phones as lost, I think you'll need to give them the phone's IMEI number, as they block the phone from that.

I dont mean to be rude or anything, but I dont understand y ppl block their fone wen they lose it, I mean yeah, block ur sim card, but leave the fone, losing it was ur fault, If it got stolen then Its a different story, but if you lost it, then atleast the next person who finds it might be able to make some use of it, i mean put urself in the finder's shoes for a second, plus blocking fones is just a waste in my opinion, my sister lost her W550 a while ago, but just block the sim, no the fone, and move on . . . , Well, thats my opinion anyway

they blacklist the phones....or the IMEI number to be exact...hence the phone wont work on any network anywhere

but the finder is in the wrong as should hand in to the police and if it isnt claimed within so long they will be given it to keep as there own, if they dont do that then they deserve to have it blocked

not necesarily, I mean once a friend of mine had found someones fone, they reported it to the police, after they found the owner he accused my friend of stealing it, and then he sed that he had looked into all his personal files and stuff, so it really depends, honestly I would rather keep the fone than go through all that rubbish.
