Does anybody have the best ANTI VIRUS PROGRAM for SE.......

My phone is full of virus and MCAFEE cannot pick a single one!!!

PLEASE TELL ME OF A GOOD MOBILE ANTI VIRUS!!!

I think those virus are making my phone SLOW!!!

PLEASE HELP ME!!!

i think is not any antivirus on JAVA phone.... only sis antivirus for nokia, SE with symbian and some motorols....

for symbian are antivirs:
Symentec Mobile Security 4.0
Simworks Antivirus 1.2.4
Kaspersky Antivirus Mobile v2.0.45 Beta2
McAfee Virus Scan v1.11
Trend Micro Mobile Security
NetQin v2.0

W800i CID 36 RED R1BC002 (unlocked gdfs):
Graphic: Linux look (bootsplash, startup, shutdown, icons, sysgfx, submenu icons, theme, layout, screensaver)
Firmware tuning: many patches (about 50<), Techmode, battery menu
Drivers: Krieomag 21.8/9, Sarmad 4.81/5.6, SPU 1.3, Professional camdriver, Toshara acoustic v1.6 (with customize system sounds)
HW: original W800i without hw modding, but new 2GB Sony MS DP card, service CRUISER 2in1 cable
Problems: New hw (camera, mainboard, reproductor and more things becouse my mobile was in service [i did stupid things with service cable and burn mainboard])
With MOBY i can use new camdriver/menu/layout/dispdriver/acoustic without connect to PC

i dont know if EXIST any virus on mobile phone kind W800i with standart firmware (no symbian)m if u have problem with mobile (slow), u can reflash main (may be fs too)

no symbian therefore no operating system.. hence no anti-virus.. as simple as that

there was actually one for Java... if i remember correctly it was sending sms to high fee services and acting as a server to spread around... worthless if you set access permissions to "no".. but anyway :D it was a trojan.

virus i'm not sure, but there is a hacking java program which is available. if u pair wiv the phone, it can use the application to read ur massages, make call, view ur contact and lots more crazy stuffs.

Ehrm,

your phone CAN hold a virus if you connect it to a virus infected pc. Since the memory card is accessable on the pc it will get infected. Because it's a PC virus, no harm will come to your phone. But once connected to another PC that doesn't have a virus scanner it will start spreading.

So technically you phone can hold a virus. It just won't harm the phone, that's all.

it is also a know, that memsticks of 1 gig slow down your phone and make recording sound imossible
check on one of these symptoms :)

yea... thats actually what happened to me...

i took my phone to a friend who had updated mcafee in his system, when i connected my phone, at once, mcafee detected a virus!!!

and unfortunately, my mcafee didnt detect any such in my system!!! may be because i havent updated my version!!! ;-(

The java stated above that sends sms to premium rate numbers, is not a virus, its more of a dirty application that misleads you into letting it send them so technicly no virus just shady tricks :(.

i agree with the idea but somehow its better to call it virus so that people will avoid it...anyways vurises cant run in java platform yet...so no need to worry about SE jave phones....but if you symbian phones, BE VERY CAREFULL!
i found a site that give anti virus for mobile phones but i have to look for it again....i forgot about the site...il post as soon as i can for our sybian folks...

i have Karspersky for java phones. I dosent try it. I take him for a russian site :good: only erase the zip extension and you are done
sorry dosent try it. my antivirus of the computer have detected a virus in him

I have a virus on my memory card, and no matter how many times I've formatted, it's still there! :mad: I've even reflashed my phone, just in case, but nothing! I've used 3 anti-viruses, 2 of them pick up the virus, but DON'T remove it, and the other one just doesn't pick anything up! <-< I don't know what to do, and it's super annoying! :mad:

thats wierd...i thought till now that there was no virus made in JAVA.....for the least SE phones....

but still its not a threat...

and ONE thing.....THERE IS NO VIRUS AS LIKE SYMBIAN VIRUS MADE FOR SE(JAVA) Phones.....so NO ANTIVIRUS NEEDED RIGHT NOW!!!!!

Ever considered the fact that it might be the computer you're formatting with that has the virus :p
