Yeah, M3 is a pretty good encoder/converter front-end. I've been using it for awhile now and have tossed all my other encoder/converter software aside for it.

Anyone else have problems with decoding video from M3?
I really like M3 because it's a 1 click job and the results are pretty good, but it won't decode a lot of files. It reports that I miss codecs but other software decode those files no problem (super, virtualDub, etc.)

Yeah, I also have the same problem with certain videos...
When I try to preview the video (Select video -> Advanced tab -> Preview Video) it says that audio must be float first, and it says that you should use ConvertAudioToFloat() . But by checking that temp file, ConvertAudioToFloat is already called!
So, it could actually be a problem with AviSynth....

So do anyone know where the developer of this app lost track. His official web site is down for a year now.
This app has too big potential to be the best ever for SE phones but for now is too bugy.
For instance first if I want to convert an avi to mp4 I need to convert it to wmv(there is other formats supportet), and than to mp4, but it still wort it .

I'm always converting avi xvids fine with M3.

So which codec do you think could be responsible for this, becouse on my pc I have lots of decoders and encoders(due to amateur affinity of video encoding).

It's the ffdshow I have installed, k-lite codec pack or divx full I have installed.

the one posted here 0.8.9.8 is the latest version....the developer has discontinued working on this project and cannot be traced

i've got this error suddenly..
i was still using m3 perfectly a few weeks ago..
then a few days ago when i started it up i had this error..
what should i do to make it run again?
i really love this program alot..

but still got the problem

Not sure if this is the best place to post this but what the heck! My w910 is due to be delivered tomorrow and someone suggested this program as a video converter. What settings would I choose for the w910?

Regarding the crashing, if you just move the error window out of the way I have found M3 often keeps working just fine in the background.

I've seen other posts describing this too.

I wish Mysh was around to help out with it though.
