Your phone's firmware or "software" is divided into two parts, MAIN and FS (File System). XS++ can only flash the MAIN part currently.

i need help.
my w850 is a cid49 & works with XS++, tried 2 times on the FSX & it works.
the last time i did was uploading a GSharp_W850.swf (rename to custom.swf), & i edit a theme file (test.thm) to use this desktop file.
today i try to upload a couple more desktop swf, so i can prepare a couple more of themes.
i re-edit the same theme file (test.thm) to use GSharp_W850.swf instead.
Now my phone is unable to go to the menu page, not even with the shortcut.
The rest of phone functions are working, even shortcuts for them are working except the menu page.
How do I fix this? need help, thx

This might help:
push the task manager button(i dont know the precise name of it, it has a square with an arrow), and try to create a new shortcut. my phone brings up the standard main menu when i do that. after that u should make a shortcut to the themes and then you can change it easily.

i already tried that when my phone menu screw up, but don't work.
it just goes back to the phone standby page whenver i try to access the menu
before i do FSX, i also assign the up button as the shortcut to the theme section, now it's changed to radio <- don't know why
now im trying to upload the custom.swf file again to the phone & edit the theme to use that as the desktop swf.
hope it works but chances not high.
i might nd to go down to SE svc center to have this phone re-flash, btw, XS++ only support R1ED001 f/w?

ALRIGHT, my phone is back to normal after i re-upload the custom.swf using FSX.
lesson learnt here is before u delete any files from /tpa/preset/system/desktop/flash/, ensure that your current theme is not using that desktop flash file.

I switch my phone off. As soon as I connect it to the cable, it starts again, even when i press the "c" button. Any work around for this? I'm pretty sure my XS++ won't work while the phone is switched on.

1 - phone must be off ( w/o sim & w/o memory card inside!!! )
2- start Xs++
3 - hold C in your phone
4- put now usb cable ( within 30 sec )
5- release C bouton when XS++ get information from your phone
