Please, I need help about connecting my K750i CID49 brown to my computer. I'm running WinXP. Somehow, I can't seem to find propper Flash Drivers for my phone. I tried the drivers that I got along with SEUS, they didn't work, I tried the drivers I got here in this forum, again the same, I found the same driver (or at least it looks like it) on some other place on the internet, and still nothing...
As it is somewhere described, I should turn off the phone, connect the USB cable to my computer, press and hold "C" on my phone and then connect USB cable to my phone. Then, if the phone boots up, the Flash driver isn't installed propperly. Well, mine did, every time. But at the same time it happens, either nothing happens on my computer or I get an information that "something went wrong with installing the drivers and the device might not work propperly". I must notice here that I had Flash Drivers ready to be installed if only the computer would offer the "Found new hardware" wizard. But it never did. I tried scanning for hardware change in the Device Manager, it didn't work. Then I tried to install drivers manually, copying them to C:/WINDOWS/system32 although I don't know if it could be done like that. Finally, after the third attempt, the phone stopped turning on after I plug the USB cable to it, but the connection still wasn't working right: XS++ does recognize the phone, giving system information about my phone, although I didn't have courage to see if Flashing or FS would go OK; but FAR manager is stuck on "Waiting responce from phone", it waits for 60 seconds and gets no responce. Can I do anything about it?
Here's the tutorial that I followed correctly:
Using Far Manager to hack/flash/patch/customize Sony Ericsson K750i CID49 phonesAlso, I have been using
this thread in this forum.
Can anyone help me with this? Am I doing something wrong? Primarly I would like to change my .lng and .t9 but also work around a bit with my phone, IF I can establish a connection that is. I would appreciate any help at all.
Edit: Okay, I'm really stuck with it. I somehow found
this tutorial which should suit my phone... Using FAR Manager, now I can see the FLASH and FS folders on my phone, which should mean that I got the connection right, right? Well, as soon as I try to access any of them, the phone boots up again and of course, FAR can not proceed. Any ideas at all?
