Hmm...animatin is not a big issue...the menus r given definite 'action paths' wich r crucial...only thing i can get those paths by editing those original menus...

yep.. i guess this will initiate more developments if we happen to take those scripts that links to the phone functions and how it was written in flash lite actionscripts.. I guess its the same with menu.ml scripts.. hmmm.. i will try and i'll post if i had any progess..

to edit them is not easy...all of the flash icons tht we hav seen untill now r originally made by SE... none of them is

hmmm.. are you travelling right now?? nweys.. i opened the swf files and they have all the same scripts.. the scripts are very short and easy to understand.. i think its possible for us to make our own flash menu.. i just cant have the fully convereted fla file.. damn fla converter.. any suggestion for a good fla converter???

i'm so excited with this.. if we able to make one flash menu.. its just a matter of how are we goin to play with our ideas on animations.. hahhaha...

i cant convert the swf to fla.. Eltima and Sothink swf to fla converter i have are all trial versions. cant have the scripts.. damn.. i cant crack those softwares..

Hi I'm new here!

This is really cool but I don't really understand how to do it. This is what I have done so far:

I downloaded Phone XS and put the .SWF files in the folder \Phone-XS_V2.01_Beta_package\files_to_phone\tpa\preset\system\desktop\flash
and also in
\Phone-XS_V2.01_Beta_package\files_to_upload\tpa\preset\system\desktop\flash

Then I started the program and followed the settings on the picture in the spanish tutorial someone posted before. I started the process but efter 3 hours nothing had happened it was still running.

Do I need something more? Perhaps more files than the .SWF files? Because i only have them and the .THM files that belongs to them.
And where should I put the .THM files on my phone? On the memorystick or on the internal memory?

And if you can, please correct the "orange bubbles" and "grouped desktop" swf files to fit the screen of w810?
because they didn't look right at the phone

ok tanks but the problem is thata are not well converted, or no 100% converter to .fla but in the program you can see the source and you can extract the images you can do an active icon menu for W800 and do the same whit all flash menus, but for develop anothers flahs menus you can extract the script source

hi.. as i have in mind.. SE have something on it.. we cannot convert the swf file to a 100% fully functional fla file.. some scripts are missing.. its too ambitious for us to make it happen but if SE developer can do it.. we can also.. were on halfway to it.. we have the icons and most of the scripts.. i'll post if i had any progress..



just upload them using PhoneXS.. then download the themes.. you can find those in this thread.. just put then on your phone.. Enjoy

i hav successfully converted all the .swf to .fla 100% nd even had resized the group desktop to 176x220 size but my flash version was 6.0 nd i needed 8.0 wich is supported by w810....so m downloading tht version nd hopefully wll post thye resized version of grou..... tommo

dude u hav to convert the .fla wen edited in .swf only using flash 8.0 so only i wll hav to do it.....i wll post it tommo.........resizing is easy but makin 1 is tough.....i wll try to get the right code.....

hmmm.. i think we need flash lite 2.0 or 2.1 in compiling the edited fla back to swf..

I manage to edit fone.swf and import the orange bubble icons as a trial.. when i compile it to flash player 8 its not opening on my phone.. but if i compile it using flash lite 1.0 or lower flash player compatible.. the image quality is not as good as the original.. i'm dowloading the flash lite 2.0 right now.. hope i would be a success..

im using the mobile designer, this program i like macromedia you can make animations and save as flas lite 1.1 , 2.0 , 2.1 , svg, zsvg, all those formats are suported by sony ericsson, i found this program in the SE develop web, but the problen is that the program cant open .fla

hi there.....

i have managed to resize the grouped desktop frm 240x320 to 176x220......but there r some bugs...

1.there r three lighted icons on startup of the file...
2.the icon selected is not highlighted ......
3.all the icons highlighted show walkman tab name...
4.vibration while browsing thru icons has vanished

i wll try nd flat out the bugs 1 by 1........

i hav attached a .zip file here wich contains...

1.grouped desktop.fla (for trying ur self...converted to 100%)
2.grouped desktop.swf (176x220....send this to ur cell thru bt or usb nd it wll save as n image file nd open it)
3.my world_japan.swf (amazing .swf application resized)

the third file is the first application tht supports image viewing nd uses internet for download........swf applications can even read filesystem without restrictions unlike java apps....they can even be programmed to read any file format.....they even give better speed nd image quality than java apps...future applications will be in .swf format....as said by n SE source

BTW, can these flash themes be flashed to K750i or D750?

that is, may be, like for my own unbranded w810, because of your customize.xml file dont have the <desktop-flash-enable> (something like that more or less) option on "true".

i watch in my "customize.xml" and i've found this write

maybe it's this the problem??if i write "true" and i upload only the file customize.xml editet with FSX in phoneXS,the flash menu will work??

yipee....!!!!i hav finally figured out the action scripts on making flash menus....wll start to make a new one....only thing...the icons would be in the static form that is the simple form like avenue nd not in different horizontal forms like breakbeat....wll work on them later.....

im still not getting wats wrong wid grouped desk...though i m able to edit the 'fone.swf' file with correct settings....i think the menus wid horizontal or diff look r embedded in many action scripts....nd protected too...so they r hard to decode......i wll post the edited fone.swf tommo......

same with mine.. i edit fone.swf with orabge bubble icons and it works.. i just cant make it run on my phone.. but if i'm goin to lower the flash player compatibility the icons are distorted.. it has a bad picture quality even if it was set to a high image quality...

but my menus r working fine even wid the fone nd on high quality......ne ways i wll upload it tommo.....still to complete

Could you tell me if the w810i requires a specific firmware version to allow the swf files to be used. I have a vodafone branded w810i that is using R4CEO12. I have uploaded some swf files to the following path tpa\preset\desktop\flash using phonexs. I have also uploaded some themes that are tailored to use these files. I have also modified the theme.xml file on some of the themes i have and none of them work.

If the phones firmware does not require upgrading is there a flash that needs installing to allow the files to be used. I have looked through the forums and they go on about using the FAR program but then they also say that this does not work with the W810 phone. Any help would be appreciated.

some branded w810i has been disable the flash menu style.. if you want to take the risk.. try to unbrand your phone.. its not recommended.. but if you really want it maybe thats the only way to have it.. think of it 10 times before doing it.. success is not guarranteed..

FINALLY.....i have made a .swf menu file that can work on w810.....i have tested it on my w810 by sending it as an image file nd it works perfect.......

plz add your comments on this as i have not tested as a menu file......post more best icons so tht i can mod them too....if i hav time

Great work! Just uploaded the swf to the flash folder in the FS and it works perfectly. Not laggy at all, took a video, but it is very blurred for some reason, il upload it later on for you guys to see. Next step would be to get a grouped menu which will work and look good enough for w810i, although I am selling mine today, its a shame.
