Ok just wondering how do u enable these once put on the 810i in the desired folder how can i make a theme to enable a certain one?

you need to specify in the theme file what flash desktop you want it to use. Get the theme onto your computer and shange the extention to .tar as opposed to .thm file. (you may have to change folder options to view the extention to change it) Then decompress the file (i use tugzip) and there should be a txt file contained within the archive. open this in notepad and look for which desktop flash theme it specifies or doesnt specify and then just modify to which flash desktop you want! save it back to the archive. Recompress, rename to .thm and upload to phone. The theme when activated should then bring up the required flash desktop!

btw. if some 1 want to create shortcut, don`t use notepad likem me
it woun`t work, only hex editor

Well the problem here are the icons, they were originally created on that resolution (240x320), and when resizing them, they just don't look the same, that's it; so, don't you like them the way they were resized??? coz I'm resizing the others right now, and I don't want a waste of time. Tell me if you still want me to keep resizing them for you.

Hi Carlos,

Thanks for resizing these for us. However, I have a suggestion for OrangeBubbles.swf that may improve it's appearance.

I noticed that the resized version's white icons are rather jagged when displayed on the W810. I would suggest grabbing the white icons from Orbit.swf and using them as a base instead. They'd only require a simply recolor to orange - for the active icons - and I doubt one could tell it apart from the original theme.

If I knew which tools and programs to use I'd do it myself. However, if you like to tell me what you are using I could have a go at it myself, instead of you spending more time on it - unless, you want to, of course.

Clublights.swf is going a have the same problem as it is a small menu as well.

I just created a MegaMan flash menu for the W300i. I've been a Flash Dev for years and years, but I JUST started learning about cell phone stuff when I got ym w300i a few weeks ago. I'm pretty new to cell phones in general, but thanks to this forum, I think I was able to put something pretty spiffy together.

I'm pretty open to critique, so here goes:

Make sure you have Flash themes enabled too, cause that's the pride and joy of this guy for me:

Hey, i've been trying to edit the Orbit flash menu and no luck what so ever!

I've been trying to change the background of the desktop menu to a image from another theme, so my theme looks the same, hope this make sense lol?

I've attached the orbit.fla and the background image, would be it be possible for any Flash pro to help me out and changed the background for me to the image attached beloew, hope this makes sense, otherwise i'm buggered lol!

Just need to change the extension of the orbit.txt to orbit.fla

hi......the menus tht u hav resized above r very low on graphics they r blurred as u hav increased their size.....can u increase the clearity by editing the graphics with abode image editor or paint??

if you want to use a swf theme, you have to upload the .SWF file into the phone (/tpa/preset/....you will find the exact path in this thread, use the FAR manager) then when you have it uploaded, just edit the .XML file you will find in the theme (.THM file is actually an archive, you can open it with total commander or winzip) and make it use the uploaded .SWF file...you will also find the way how to do this in this thread...

do i need to flash it? or just upload the .thm file which hav flash menu to my phone?

I noticed this also. Which is why I suggested extracting the graphics from Orbit.swf to use as a base and then recoloring them - they'd look much nicer in my opinion.

well, I already tried doing that, but, it's more difficult than what you think; when extracting and resizing the images to add them to the .swf file, it just gets weird and some images get lost; but, I'll keep trying to solve it.

I cant get the thm to work, even though I edited the theme.xml.

It says "File corrupt - cannot be used".. I used a tar archiver to thm..

It reads perfectly in themes creator.

Tried that, but phone says file is corrupt!

That's because you're compressing folder to .tar.
To make it work you need to compress files in folder, than change ext, and voila...

Now... A question...

Is there active desktop black for w810, and can someone please get rid of that stopwatch icon in some themes. Upload all menus that are completly optimised for w810. Please...

i resized th icons....in swf...

but there is a prob..pals...

since the swf's are resized,,, so even if i insert smaller icons,,,in it..still they distort...

if i can get anything..... which is original in size...

then i can change tyhe icons...

say if u want 2 change any icons in any 810i theme,,then i can do that...
