use winrar to extract the file
winrar is a program ( just like winzip ) to compress files.....you can download winrar from download.com

hi @basti........ur walkman beam was gr8 but the animation is hell slow when on the fone....i cant use it coz it takes a nightmare to navigate thru the icons....the beam animation is also slow.....i think u should increase the frame rate.....

Yeahhhh, Walkmanbeam it's a little slow, even version for 240 x 320 is; I have it on my phone; eventhough, It's still beautiful, I know basti0780 can fix this thing too.

How do i delete swf files from the phone?

It's so easy my friend, to delete files from from your phone, use the Phone XS ++ version, all you have to do is to write the path of the files you previously uploaded; for example, if you want to delete "walkmanbeam.swf" you write this path: "/tpa/preset/system/desktop/flash/walkmanbeam.swf" that's all you have to do men; I hope I answered your doubt.

Hi guys, i'm trying to modify the emerge.swf file to change the bacground color to be blue...
Here is what i have done:
-I converted the original fila to .fla using swf decompiler
-I opened the new file with macromedia flash 8 and changed the color to blue
-I saved the modified file to swf using version FlashLite 1.1

I flashed the file to my phone (w810) end modified the theme to use it but is not working, when i enter the menu i see the animation of the menu...

Where is my error?

actually YES it is possible but you will need bruteforcing...BUT only ONCE

normally you put the .swf file into /tpa/preset/system/desktop/flash

BUT IF you want to upload/test several .swf files and you don't want to brute force every time, let's say you want to use 3 different swf files named menu1.swf, menu2.swf and menu3.swf, then you can create shortcuts to them (which have forms of small files) which you will upload into /tpa/preset/system/desktop/flash/ (bruteforcing will be needed only here)

what does it mean? that means that those shortcut files will contain the path to the REAL .swf files, that will be located in the shared memory that is available through USB here is what you do:

1. create 3 EMPTY files named:

menu1.swf.@
menu2.swf.@
menu3.swf.@

- yes, the ".@" is a prefix and actually it means that it's a shortcut...

2. use a HEX editor to edit the files and write the path to the real files (menu1.swf, menu2.swf, menu3.swf) in the form i am using in the example i have uploaded in this reply

3. bruteforce with XS+ and put those files into /tpa/preset/system/desktop/flash

4. when you create a .swf desktop, you just put it into the shared "OTHER" folder accessible on USB and then make your theme use it.

Example: you will use the shortcut menu1.swf.@ (which contains the path /usb/other/menu1.swf)
so you create a .swf desktop named "menu1.swf", put it into the OTHER folder in the phone and make the theme use the file "menu1.swf"

got it? it's quite easy...remember, use the HEX editor and modify my attached shortcut as you want but have in mind that it has to have the SAME "layout" (a 00 character after each letter and three 00 characters in the end)

ALSO there is another possibility, maybe not all of you know that, but now you can finally use FAR SEFP plugin with CID49 phones (including W300, W810, W550, Z550 etc...) just search the forum

and i uploaded all the flash files,,,but when i tried using the files......

i could only use files that had size 176x220... rests of the files do not display.......just like error...

can some1 lend me the resized,,,,swfs for,

and also the way 2 resize it.... so that if possible i can do it.....in future....

MMMM intresting!!! it is possible to use shortcuts even for menu.ml and/or modified PNGs??? so we can hotswap menu layouts through renaming inside memory card

of course that's the point actually! i am using shortcuts also for menu.ml, layout xml and customize.xml...all of them are actually stored in the shared usb memory of the phone

but the more important thing is that you should know that SEFP can be used with CID49 DB2010 (W810 etc) phones now... ok? so you don't even need to bruteforce when uploading the shortcuts etc...hey, and when you place the shortcut, don't forget to remove the original file from the folder where it was, because you want the shortcut to replace the file (like menu.ml)...and put that file to the place, which you have written in the shortcut

yeah man i'm already using far + sefp method on my w810i and it works great.

i think i understood the shortcuts way... but, in order to get it without errors, can u post your shortcuts? what is /usb/? the same as /card/? don't get where i have to create folders with real files

But still I am a little confused with this:



the /usb works, but the /card not. Is the "/card/other" folder the same as using the explorer and browsing to:
"Phone Card:\MSSEMC\Media files\other" ?
