It is not the SIMlock code for your phone. Look at post#7.

So, with this software I can't read NCK from my phone?
How I can read it with DCU-60?

1. turn off phone
2. open the program (already extracted)
3. hold C button
4. plug USB cable in
5. it stays at the first screen on the program.

Did you install the USB flash drivers? Are you able to use SEUS?
If you can use SEUS, then come back.

oh joy, well, it crashed and bricked my phone.
after the third? time it said "plain text: blah" it crashed, and now my phone just displays a white screen

prodid loader cannot crash your phone. it opens GDFS in read only mode. weird.
-did you try to take out the battery, and reinsert?
-did you charge your battery?

Did you install the USB flash drivers? Get them from the PhoneXC-thread. Use the "old" drivers - they work best for all.

I had drivers installed on my PC. After the 15-th try, i just restarted the PC and everything passed succsesfully.

hi guys am new but i had been watching the forum , i decided to try this program on a w800i that ive not used in a while ,

i installed the drivers etc , got my dcu-60 cable and ran the program , but when i use it it reads ..

cannot open \\.\epiusb31 at all
cannot open phone communication port : '\\.\epiusb1'


any ideas guys ?? would ne good to use the fone again , rather than just for the walkman side of it ..

a) turn off phone
b) remove battery
c) insert battery
d) start program
e) plug USB into phone while holding "C" button on phone

Havent tried that, is is a db2010 phone? Works with USB only.
Just for fun you can start the prog and see what happens.

How I can know if its a db2010??

Looks like it will work - have a go! You cannot destroy anything by running the program, since it is a "read only" operation.

Yes, install everything and have a go. If the drivers dont work, get the "USB flash drivers" from here:

Actually, it depends on the firmware where the code is stored. I assume all firmwares do it the same way in the GDFS.

AFAIK W900 is a db2000, so it is not supported. I have a phone-loader for it, but it cannot read the code from GDFS somehow...

I know k800 is not a DB2010, but do you happen to know any way to unlock or get the phone lock code from a k800 ?

K800 is db2020 and there is no way to read any code from it.
It is possible to reset the "phone lock code" with EMMA service software AFAIK.

Simlock-codes cannot be read from your K800, you need to get it from your provider.

when i double click the program, it says hold c button and connect the phone, but when i connect it does nothing widows xp detects the phone and launches the driver install wizard.
do i have to take out the sim card?
has the battery go to be 100%?

nth happens...juz a Removable Disk (E:) thing came out

hi when i install drivers my w800 recognises as a unknown device



i have tried new and old drivers

any ideas why this is happening

try clicking the "unknown device" and choose "update/install drivers".

also, if you connect the phone to your PC *while the phone is running*, you need to install some other drivers from your CD that came with your phone. then you can use your phone as a memorystick.

the phone is not running because i held c and plugged usb in this stays for like a 20-30 secs and then goes from device maneger.

somehow i cannot open the pictures.
just download the drivers ("win usb driver old" work best for most users), and install them. maybe you need to completely delete the old drivers first from your /windows subdirectory... get the files from here:

when i download the win old driver and extract the two files inside and put into new folder and then i turn off my phone and hold c and plug in data cable
then windows detects my phone and then i choose to install drivers from specific location and i click on the file with the drivers.
when i press next it recognises as a unknown device.

the drivers installed fine on my win2k sp2. i suggest you go to the sony-ericsson website and look for sony ericsson update service "SEUS". there is also a thread about it:

ask for help there. if you get SEUS to run with your phone, then phonexs will work, too.

couldnt find anything under lockcode USB
theres only lockcode
i opened it
a black window opened wiht a msg " turn off phone. hold C and connect. u have 30 second" i did that
NOTHING HAPPENED window just close

what a legend! cpw could not even help me after they accidentally blocked the phone when I sent it for repair. so they sent me a replacement phone and forgot to take thew old one back! muppets! hopefully they havne't blocked the imei.
