Hi everyone. I'm trying to find out the phone lock code on my w800i which is on orange UK. I use an imac, so I plugged my cable into the usb port and downloaded the program Hendrix made. When I run the lockcode program press and hold c, and plug the cable into the phone I get the following screen:

Dude, I freaking love you. I got a used W810i on eBay and my old code, of course, didn't work. Thanks to your handy program, I can now fully protect my phone!

Fantastic thread, very informative.

I'm having difficulty with my W810. I've tried removing the battery, placing it back, checked and reinstalled the drivers (both new and old) for WIN, I've tried it with SIM in and with SIM out, still keeps getting this error.

This is what is displayed:

plz help i have k750i when i start the program turn off phone plugit in usb and press c when the phone is on the program shuts down and when im running through cmd it says that a comunication port cannot be opened plz help!!!!!!!!!!!! srry for bad english

I've followed the instructions within the exe file with my W800i but it does not return any result. Any suggestions please?

Please help. I can't get past the screen that says you've got 30 sec. and i don't see any program in the *_USB.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated. I've also downloaded the drivers and not sure what to do with them.

Hi Everybody, can some one help me with my problem. first i have downloaded the ZIP file, after extraction i did not find the file name LockCode_USB.exe, i only find Lockcode.exe.

i followed the instructions but the result i got is as the following:

Turn off phone. Hold C Button on phone and connect phone. You have 30 seconds.
Cannot open phone communication port: '\\.\EPIUSB1'

why it cannot open the phone comm. port. the driver is defined fine. May be because i have missing file LockCode_USB.exe

please someone advice.

Does this program work with Sony Ericsson W580i. I have followed the instructions and I didn't get passed the screen asking to wait for 30 seconds.

you cant use this as it only works with cid36 k750/w800. the w580 is cid52 so use xs++ to reset it

tried several times to no avail.............If I run the program when i plug the usb in it asks for drivers but if i plug the usb in without phonelock running it finds phone fine
does running vista 64 matter??

Hi there!

I have been handed a k750i from a friend: the problem is that the phone has a lock code enabled, and everytime I turn it on it keeps coming up.

I have tried to get xs++ (3.1) to read the phone, but seems that windows xp just wanted to try and read the phone and annoyingly opened up a phone code box for the code. XS++ didnt seem to be doing much so I told XS++ to disconnect.

I have some USB flash drivers installed: the same pc has read mine and my cousins phones fine (see signature) (b**** to install but hey got them installed them in the end)

My questions are this:
1: Will this program get the code, even though the phone is coming up with phone lock and not wait like XS++ did?
2: Will a customization flash be required afterwards, if so can I do it from a DCU-10 cable do it?

For db2020 phones, use XS++ to RESET the phone lock code. XS++ is found here:

Your milage may vary from phone to phone, depending on CID# and available loaders. The code will be reset to "0000".

Mines not working. I've an SE k750i when I press C and connect my usb cable the phone turns on and asking me for the Pin code. Dunno why :S

enter phone goto menu,settings, locks, phone lock, change code and change it so u dont forget it again
