Hi friends,
Isn't the WF Navigator suppose to be complementary software along with the expencive phones like w995?
it asks for subscribtion 30$ for 12months. and also has the option 'No Thanks' .

And it always say GPS not ready, when I select option to Drive or walk to a location.
Has anyone used the WF Navigator successfully (especially W995)?

hmmmm,
Even money oriented Microsoft offer free licenced operating system in any branded pc.
Adobe offers photo managing softwares along with the Digital cameras. printer scanners also provide branded software to a complete use of the product.
Sony Ericsson advertising their models by declaring the features like GPS, atleast should give a proper complementing software to make full use of it. Because it is not like any kind of cell network subscription that has to be bought to keep working.

u can allways use google maps, it dont have any fee to use the only difference is it will not give u any turn to turn navigation
and BTW i dont think any mobiles comes with preinstalled navigation softwares except some "made for navigation" phones wink.gif

Yes thats what I am talking,
Hardware + software makes a gadget.
It should be preinstalled as ownership of the end user, because they are advertising the phone in the name of that hardware. for e.g. GPS WIFI Camera Walkman Bluetooth Motion sensor etc.
