Hi I will explain pretty shortly.
I bought my W995 today and I wanted to change the font and ad some flashmenus.
I have used A2uploader before many times but now when I connect my W995 it says this after I unplug it after a while without anything happening: "phone pre-boot failed,possible RECOVERY needed." every time I connect the phone except one time when it actually started to read but suddenly stopped :S
Please help me!!!!

Thats strange, on that link its asking me for the free user or the premuim user (use free unless you have an account there)

Install ggsemc drivers! They are in the folder with A2Uploader.

Thank you! I downloaded and tried it but it still remains ='( Can it be the battery? How long do I need to charge it the first time?

try cleaning up the "fastport" (usb/headophone/charger connection port in mobile) of your mobile.. or try using a different USB cable.....
it happens with me many times as i go out and dusts make a layer on the metal part or fastport [

sorry. overlooked you mentioned, it is new mobile...
just check USB cable or the USB port of the computer .... some "loose connection" may cause this too..

I will test with a new one when its 100% charged =) I will return with any info!
Still looks to me like you're still not using the latest version or indeed your battery hasn't enough charge.

But how can I see which is the latest version? All of the versions looks the same to me and I did download and tried the one that cchaos gave me.

Guys! I solved the problem, all that was needed was a computer restart! I will come up with some lighteffects to W995 very soon!
