Hey guys, this is a quick question really.
Remember the K850 from a while back... (Some might)
I was looking for help on mobile files forum and the_laser said it's not software problem

QUOTE (the_laser)
flash chip sector damaged, nothing to do with software

He then said...

QUOTE (the_laser)
perhaps, rehot/reball of flash ic will help.

Now I been searching google and can't find any information on this sad.gif

Does anyone know what it means,
Thanks guys smile.gif

i assume he means that the solder balls under the IC (intergrated Circuit) needs a "resolder" in this case a reheat.
But how to do this without damaging other components and the IC in question is a little problem.

try a hairdryer but DON'T hold it for long.

IC's in this case have aprox 20-70 pins, pads or balls deppending on the IC but in SE phones i guess about 30-40 and these is sitting underneath the IC so if you remove it sucks to be you. i would turned the phone in if there is a warranty.

I should have a box on saturday (doing Corman's phone) so I could try full GDFS reconstruction for your phone.
