Hi...

I know im very unlucky because i had just bought a C905 like 3 days ago (used) and today as i was running it slipped out of my hand and BANG it was on the floor with a cracked screen and split in to 2 peices

now im going to buy a new LCD but how do i put it back together, i mean i dont even know if it turns on now,, because the flex cable is still attached to the top part of the slide...

help.. i mean do i need a new housing?

btw when i say split into two peices i mean like the image shown below...

Well, you may have done a right number on it there. You could have broken the sliding mechanism... Is that picture you posted of your actual phone or one found on the internet? Just confused by the way you've said "like the image shown below..."

If you can post more pictures it'd be great

Might be easier and quicker for you to buy a faulty but complete C905 then put your phone's mainboard into it, a much quicker and easier job to undertake. I'd also try a charged batt in the faulty phone before taking it apart if you try this method - you'd be surprised how many 'faulty' phones just have a duff battery!

But if you did all that damage you could have damaged the mainboard itself

Yeah that isent my phone but my phone looks IDENTICAL to that... absolultly no difference (appart from it says Cyber-Shot not Orange near the screen)

i really dont know what can do to it... i mean, i was gonna buy a full New housing for it and a new lcd..
and try that, but like someone said, i might of damaged the Mainboard and it might just all be a waste of money,

i went to a shop and the guy started to makes jokes when he seen it and said, £70 to fix it and its not guarenteed it will work after that..

for now, im using my C902 :D:D till i can do something about it...
