Wasn't entirely sure where to put this, but i guess its firmware based so maybe this is right.
My friend has a c903. Whenever he takes the battery out, he looses some random settings like the time and date etc.
this isnt really a problem, more of a minor annoyance, but still, i wondered whether this is normal.
(also it kept giving me strange errors in A2uploader, but i couldnt remember if a2upldr could actually work on DB3210, so is this normal too?)]
Thanks for any help.
Use the latest version of a2 uploader: it should work

I did afaik, and still no ideas why it resets when the batt is removed?
A2 uploader: try the version thats in my skydrive
Time and date: I think thats normal, but I would wait on someone elses reply too

Odd that it wouldnt keep the time. Seems like a wierd oversight on SEs part.
Never experienced it with other SE phones.
I've never heard of any SE phone that loses the time/date settings when the battery is removed. Seems odd to me.

But if the phone works normally, he/she shouldn't worry about it even though its annoying.

@Boysie
Well the phone worked normally (up till today, where the keyboard has gone wierd, but i think thats a hardware thing, because he is clumsy haha)
and yeah its a little bit annoying, but on the whole it was just because i found it perplexing and wondered if anyone knew anything about the problem. Maybe the same sort of thing as what happens on PCs when you take the internal battery out? seems kinda like that really. Is there one in mobiles, and could it be out of charge?
@Nick14
No he doesn't
Thanks for your interest guys :]

Hiyah,
I've got a C903. It didn't happen to me unless I removed the batt for about 2-3 minutes. If I just take it out and in immediately, I don't lose any settings. Did you try to update software via SEUS?

Thats odd.
And no I havn't, because it wasnt my phone and he's got stuff on it he wants to keep
Although he just broke it xD so its going to the repair center. We shall see what becomes of it.
And did you try an update? did it work?
Thanks for the info. The few minutes or longer rule is perplexing

I hadn't had that problem, but yes, I updated C903 and yes, it succeed

it's almost always worth updating software. But, LOL, mine broke too and it went to the service... I'll receive it in next 3 hours... I hope that this guy will know how to repair the fast-port, cuz the one before couldn't xD
