I tried to find the firmware on some sites given in some tutorials here, but couldent find the firmware files [.mbn , .fbn , and cust pack ]

Also i can read russian So was unable to check all sites,

Yes i m having R3EA037 but the LD .
LT is having more patches , so LD also no use, I need to port all sysgfx patches myself.
And most of the times newer version in better than previous

So R3EF001 has to be better

man lemme tell you that LD is far better than LT....i uploaded LT long back and i had a terrible HOUR with that firmware....that firmware hanged a lot in my set and was veru buggy....LD is best....m not gonna pput R3EF001 unless SEUS makes it generic for all or comes up with a newer firmware for W595 also with Differences....

R3EF001 is only available for ISRAEL atm. Just flash the main and leave the FS as it is.

Indeed. I have R3EA37 LD WESTERN EUROPE as a FS, and R3EF001 as Main. Works perfectly

Nothing will happen and you won't lose any stored files or settings. You'll only lose any patches applied.

True that most FWs need both main and FS of the same version but not always, as in this case.

m not keen to apply patches as those tend to hang the phone a lot....and i am really intersted in the "Switching off Light Sensor" for the W595 as there exists one for W760i but not for the firmware i have....its for older version...i want the same for W595 too....if it is there for W595 then i am ready to upgrade my main or else m not intersted...

no comments....i havent upgraded yet...but i just opened A2uploader for uploading the new firmware...try switching off your cell...take out the battery...let your phone load fully again(i mean let it update the media and let it be free)....then try using your key.....might work...

2)click add button and select the .mbn file and then connect phone
3)click flash

Yes, just add it in the flash box and hit flash.

BTW, jjpatcher causes the hangs. Use permanent patching instead

lets c i have also updated my main to R3EF001...lets c if i face any problem.....hope not to see any problem atleast with this firmware and hope it is faster than the previous

Keep it brown if you want to continue to apply patches.

Or find someone with a SEToolBox that's willing to update your SEMCBOOT and change to RED again . SETool patches the SEMCBOOT so a modified .cxc also works on RED
