Full Version: K800 Battery Dropout, Weak Signal

Hey everyone,

lately I've been having some issues with my battery on the K800

I can have a full charge and afford only 20-30min of talk time before the battery alarm goes out.

After the call, the battery meter does climb back up to about halfway.

I did try another battery, same thing.

I wonder if the headphones that I am using are giving a bigger draw or something.

I used the HPM 70 headphones, which I know were real.
The ones that I use now are HPM70, came in a perfect box... etc. but have waaaay too much bass. So I figure that they may not be real.

Or could it be some sort of antenna problem in the phone. I got the phone shortly after they came out, so it has a few dings.

Perhaps I should flash the gdfs?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks

In case you misunderstood krazyd007, do NOT flash a GDFS that's not yours!

I'm using the UK version of the flash for the past 2 yrs. The phone was originally Hong Kong.

Ok, here's an update.

The battery was charged only half way, I was able to talk for almost an hour before the call ended.

So, I've narrowed it down to the fake headphones. With those engaged I seem to only get 20min.

I'll continue to test different ways.
