hey people, am really new to this, i got interested after seeing videos on youtube with k800i the vista computer style mod, have installed the flash drive so my phone connects and displays the phone details:

have read all the tutorials and understood a few things like am looking for red52 as i see thats what my phone is, but i dont understand what flash main and fs main i will need to put in the boxes when flashing, i am after putting the vista mod on shown in this link: http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?autocom...&showcat=22 but am really unsure which one will work with mine as there is two for the k800i, could someone please tell me which files i need to put in boxes and links to get them from off this site and the CDA drop down menu on xs++ i see similar numbers to mine but have different numbers at the end could someone please help me out i would be much appreciated, cheers, rich

Btw you have an O2 custom atm. The link I gave is a generic one. Tbh O2 branding isn't very intrusive but you won't lose much with a generic custom

oh cheers boysie , when i come to custom mods like vista etc which menu would i need to put the files in it wouldn't be owt to do with the CDA etc is it, am guessing its something to do with fsx?

If its just a menu then put the menu.ml and icons in tpa/preset/system/menu. And yes use the fsx tool in XS to upload those files.

Ah i see. XS can't patch. SETool2lite can but not large gFX patches like in that download so it'll be JDFlasher.

I suggest you look in the firmware tutorials section for Advanced usage JDFlasher to enable your phone to accept vkp patches. Read it carefully.
