hi guys,


just wondering if you can help me, i have a sony ericsson w705 that was on orange so i debranded it, then i got it unlocked.
i wanted to put o2 firmware on it but was wondering if it will lock it again, just thought i better check before i start.

No it won't lock it again. AFAIK, O2 doesn't have its own branded firmware. wink.gif

would you not rather just have the latest generic firmware so you dont have all the branding plastered everywhere on the phone.

cheers for the reply guys, i know what you mean best just to leave as it is i guess, just thought putting o2 firmware in may have given me some extra features, since i debraded it bbc i player has vanished, it was in media i think

y not just flash a branded cda at least then you should get tv back and your phone wont be plastered in branding

is it hard to do, i am quite new to this sony thing, when i done the debrand i use a2 uploader and cda claw, thanks

thats what i did a cda upgrade to debrande do you know of any cda files i should use

right got a problem now, i tried changing the cda again and tried using seus to update but it just says the phone has the latest software and wont let me reinstall it, i tried a few cdas but still the same, any ideas pls help.gif help.gif
