Hi all,

One for the geniuses amongst you!

I've finally managed to get my K610i to connect to D-Ultimate, and now have the NCK, NSCK, SPCK, CCK, PCK and ESLCK codes.

Using <**<, I have the following options..

Network - MNC2 and MNC3 (to input PCK code)
Network subset - MNC2 and MNC3 (to input NSCK code)
SP - MNC2 and MNC3 (to input SPCK code)
Corporate MNC2 and MNC3 (to input CCK code)

I can successfully put in the Network code, but all others that have been provided are coming up as 'Wrong code' and the sim is still inactive.

Any ideas?

Am I missing a step, or do I need to patch it in order to activate?

Cheers guys
Lolly.
Sim Inactive?? Phone found/stolen = barred.

i would try a working sim first before you conclude that its barred cool.gif

Cheers for the reply guys.

My old Nokia screen smashed and I desperately needed a working handset!

This K610i was originally branded on 3, but I've been trying to get it to work with my work O2 sim - hence the hassle!

If you want to unlock it, why not just patch it? wink.gif

Apologies cchaos, but by patch it, do you mean use SimLockPatchGen? If so, which file do I need to drag into the app?

Cheers

But the phone says 'Inactive SIM' when booted up.

Then as said earlier. Your The phone has been IMEI blocked. It has been reported lost or stolen!

Thanks for the advice Boysie

Damn!

Any way round this, or do I need to approach '3'? Sim works fine in an old Nokia 6100
Boysie
Nope. Its use as a phone has been disabled.

How did you get the phone?

Dead SIM. Try another. Think "IMEI reported" phones still show a network, rather than "invalid SIM"

I read somewhere, a software named imei converter. I hav'nt tried it, but u can try n post if u succefd.
cchaos
Dont bother. Anything that involves changing the IMEI number is illegal, and is not allowed on this site

Hi Boysie,

We had a lodger who had the phone on pay as you go with 3. When he left, he asked if we wanted it. That was about a year and a half ago.

I guess I'll have to stick to the 6100 with the missing back!

Hi cchaos,

I've tried O2 and Vodafone sim's (can't remember what the Vodafone one displayed). With the O2 sim inserted, it came up with 'Inactive sim', but the signal strength indicator was showing full.

Juding by other responses, it's looking like the IMEI has been barred, even though it's unlocked sad.gif
Boysie
Looks that way. Can only use as a paperweight now!
