A friend of mine bought a W395 handset yesterday.
I tried to send some java applications via bluetooth to the mobile.
But after receiving the file error message showed : "File Not Supported"
The games work fine on my K530 and also on W810.
The game files are in .jar format as usual.
What is the problem ?

What is the size of the apps? The W395 only supports files up to 512kB

I was sending about 700kb app.
So ders no way to overcome that ?

Nope . To double check, try sending him an app that's about 200 kB and see if his phone accepts the file.

no, there is a way to install java - by sending the .jar [or .jad] file via usb cable from computer

No there isn't. W395 is an ODM phone: Sagem manufactures the hardware, provides the FW. More ODM phones are W302, F305, T280,... - in short, all the new low-end phones.

The limitation on Java apps stays the same regardless which method you use to upload it to the phone (I know by experience: my brother had a W302)

i read this every where that W395 doesnt support java apps >512kb in size. bt i have this phone and i have installed java apps upto 3mb in size
