Hello!

I have recieved brand new C510 phone but it's flooded. It was dropped to the lake and watered.
The problem is that when I connect it with charger camera buttons are hihlighted but nothing else. When i hold ON button there is vobra only and nothing happens.
SEUS block Firmware installation at 84-85%, without bigger reason, A2 Uploader detects phone and allows to flash firmware (what I just did- it's highlighting without connected charher now). What should I do?
Please, I need help cuz I love this phone a lot. And I can't even turn it on...
The one solution is visit to SE service? Is it expensive?

Regards,
Javan

Under warranty shouldn't be expensive

Warranty normally doesn't cover water damage. Do you have insurance on the phone?
devilwasabi
Dry the phone and they know nothing.

No really tongue.gif? If the phone is water-damaged, there will be oxidation everywhere inside. My brother had it on his W302, the green mainboard had white crystals all over it.

They will know tongue.gif.

Everything inside looks ok- no rust,no crystals... Everything dryed.

Have you taken the phone completely apart?
panzer39
Not really. When I opened it to the motherboard and didn't notice too big damages (except dust) I closed it and decided to wait until I'll give it the proffesional service center.

Here are some pictures of it's outside. As You can see phone is almost new, only a few little scratches, it has even plastic shield on the screen.

Leave the phone for 3 to 4 days in good sun light dont do any thing let it dry as much as it can and then switch on the phone it must be ok

Corman is right. They will find out if its water-damaged, so its best to let them know and ask them to treat it accordingly...
