My keypad lights are always off. Even at times when it should be on, it is still off... Only like 20 percent of the time then it will on. Most of the time is when I slide down wait until the phone go into standby mode then I slide up. Then the keypad lights on. Things like while I am smsing and things that involve clicking a button, all the top slider button lights are on, but the keypad is off. I used the service test, to test the led and my keypad lights are working fine. It on at the right time. Is this a firmware bug or hardware issue? My firmware version is r1fa035.
