Hi guys,

I've got a W880i which i debranded and unlocked successfully, i even made some calls form it. I then took out my sim and left the phone for a week and was planning to give it to a friend. However I tried the phone last night and it wouldn't turn on. I tried connecting via USB and no response from windows or XS++ or wotan. I tried holding C and also 2+5, no response. I tried charging it and the C key is light red. It was light red constantly, then at one point it was charging with the animation then it WSOD. I took the battery out for 10 mins and tried charging it again but it was flashing red on the C key for 3 times then turned off. Now when i plug it it does nothing at all. I've read that its the erom that is dead and to fix it you can reflash but how do i reflash if windows doesn't recognise it? XS++ and Wotan doesn't seem to pick it up either. Any help would be really appreciated.

thanks

Try 2 - c is used to turn the phone on (if I remember correctly)

You remembered correctly "C" = on/off on W880 smile.gif

C is also on off for alot of other SE phones like the C905 for example. I've tried connecting the phone using C and also tried using 2+5 but nothing, no response.

cool, will give it a try. but i'll need to find a way to charge up the battery first. I don't want to try anything unless i know the battery is full.

Using this username just gives you information on your phone wink.gif
It's their test account there is no flashing available, just to see if your phone will connect to them smile.gif
