No you don't need to reflash the phone in order to use flash menus. Depending on the operator, flash may need to be enabled by a customize_upgrade.xml.

Providing you use the software correctly, there is minimal risk.

Probably not, as you will be changing part of the original firmware on the phone if you need to enable flash menus

Any changes on fs will break the warranty...
I have a question regarding this too
- if i want to enable flash menu on k510,k310,k320/k550/k530,k61x/k750 does it will done only using customize_upgrade.xml without crossflashing it to w200/w610/w660/w800?

K-series phones don't have the FlashLite 'codec' in their Main, therefore playing .swf's on them is only possible with crossflashing

And its not worth crossflashing the k320: you lose bluetooth.

Also, does the w800 firmware support flashlite?

An early, buggy FW version does, but only flash wallpapers, not menus
