Hello to everyone newhere.gif

I want some help with w715 Vodafone.

Phone software is not the Vodafone original, my friend flash it into W715_R1DA035_MAIN_GENERIC_NR_RED52 before a month ago. The phone works pretty well, since yesterday...I took it from my pocket, slide it, and press the green button to call > all the incoming/outgoing call names were written with chinese symbols or letters i dunno blink.gif i go to contacts, and the phone freezes, after 10 sec. waiting I press the red button, and try to go to contacts again - > again nothing.
Then I restart the phone ( with pulling battery out ), and when the phone started and trying to search for network, i realized that something is not OK - the phone cannot find any network, i start the manual search ( only in 2G 900/1800Mhz mode ), but the phone did not find any network. I've moved the SIM to another phone, and i register in operators VLR with no problem. Then I test 3 SIM cards in the w715 - but still no network, and some other functions didn't work as well.
( when i plug the charger to the phone, i got the pretty "cool" message " The phone cannot be charged, use original Sony Ericsson battery ) I try with Master Reset ( Reset Settings, Reset All ) several time, but didn't help.
So I decide to flash the firmware. I read the Flashing A2 phones with A2Uploader which is very usable ( like the most of the pinned threads in this forum ) I download the latest version of the A2Uploader, and also the W715_R1DA035_MAIN_GENERIC_NR_RED52 and start the flashing, when the process was complete i restart the phone ( again with pulling battery out ), but unfortunately that won't help - I got the same problems before the flashing. cry.gif

Sorry if the thread is not in the correct sub-forum, but i'm little confused. And also sorry for the bad English knowledge.

Thank you in advice.

I solved the problem ! smile.gif

Your forum is more than helpful !

The first time, when I try to flash the phone, I use only W715_R1DA035_MAIN_GENERIC_NR_RED52 file. How stupid I'm.

Now I add the files from pakraider post and everything is OK!

10x to Photographer for the Tutorial.

also 10x to Jinx13 for Post #61
