Hey all
I was following a "how to" showing how to change the firmware of a k750i to a w800.
The reason I was doing this is because my phone is locked to the o2 Ireland network and I have a Meteor Ireland sim card.
The k750i is a spare phone (Im now using a k800i for my o2 Ireland sim) but I would like to use it since I have a second simcard (Meteor).
I thought changing the firmware would unlock the phone from the o2 network and enable it to be used on any network, but I was wrong. Its still saying that its not accepting my Meteor sim.

Am I barking up the wrong tree trying to do it using this method?
NOTE: The how to says that the flashing process will go through two sets of 291 blocks. 291 in one step and another 291 in another.
When I did it my first block size was 153 and the second has 291. Im just wondering what thats about, maybe its contributing to my problem.
Id love to get my old k750i unlocked. That and the k800i are fantastic phones.
Also at some point I want to move away from o2 to Meteor so if anyone could tell me how to unlock my k800i aswell that would be fantastic.
